Job Title: Junior Cloud Developer

Centeva is working a proposal to support the National Nuclear Systems Administration with a robust technical team to provide quality service and support of their mission.  If Centeva is successful in this proposal selected applicants would begin work around May 1st, 2023.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Cloud Developer to join our team and help us build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The Junior Cloud Developer will work closely with the development team and collaborate with other departments to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud-based applications and services using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with the development team and other departments to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop automated deployment, scaling, and monitoring solutions.
• Implement security and compliance measures in the cloud environment.
• Maintain and update cloud-based applications and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the cloud environment.
• Document development and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in cloud computing, including designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Understanding of networking, security, and database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
