Job Description

Seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a Specialty in Trauma/PTSD

Do you have a passion for helping people with trauma? Do you want to join a team of supportive trauma experts? Are you ready to join a cutting-edge practice that specializes in brain-based treatments?

Are you ready to uplevel your clinical practice?
We are looking for licensed clinicians who have a strong desire to specialize in trauma and begin EMDR training. We provide consultation hours towards certification as a benefit of employment. Clinicians already trained in EMDR are also encouraged to apply. This position is part-time, but we will consider full-time for the right person

We are a compassionate group practice with experienced trauma clinicians that have a passion for helping people, particularly those with trauma. In addition to evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy, we also provide neurofeedback and neuropsychological assessments.

Due to our excellent reputation, The Center for NeuroPotential receives referrals from physicians and other mental health clinicians from all over the state. If you are a dynamic, motivated, ethical, client-centered therapist, our practice will be a place where you can grow and flourish. We provide administrative and billing support to our clinicians so you can focus on providing the highest level of care without distractions! These are the cornerstones of our work environment.

The position will include a mix of telehealth virtual and in-person appointments, dependent on the COVID-19 community spread. We will train you on how to ethically and effectively provide trauma-informed therapy (including EMDR) via telehealth. As of February 7, 2022, approximately half of our sessions are being done in person.

Patients are highly motivated to heal. We prescreen all potential patients to determine if they are a good fit for our practice. Because of this screening, our clinicians have a high retention rate and are able to successfully treat and discharge patients. We do not offer 24-hour coverage and refer out individuals with acute suicidal ideation and active substance abuse.

This is not a temporary or short-term position. We are seeking clinicians to be part of our team and consider the Center for NeuroPotential a home-base for years to come.

Transformative Change, Growth Mindset, and Respect, . These values guide our clinicians and their work. The Center for NeuroPotential is a leading-edge group practice that supports and values our employees and clients. We foster an encouraging, uniquely supportive work environment to provide therapeutic excellence. We encourage our therapists to work together providing peer support in addition to weekly consultation.
