Job Description

Summary

Center for Early Success seeks a detail oriented, professional candidate to fill the position of Operation's Coordinator. The mission of Center for Early Success is to strengthen the system of individuals and organizations caring for and educating children ages birth to five. Our goal is to ensure that all children are emotionally, intellectually, and physically ready to succeed in school.

The position oversees operational, administrative, and select finance functions of the nonprofit organization, with additional support in human resources, training and event planning functions.

Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Administrative and Facilities
  • Provide day to day administrative support to Executive Director, ensuring office phone coverage, maintaining office supplies, etc.
  • Maintain organizational files
  • Provide support for Board Meetings
  • Coordinate facility repairs and communication with office vendors
  • Maintain office technology needs
HR Finance
  • Process Invoices, bi-monthly check cuts and all bank deposits
  • Prepare monthly budget reports
  • Assist with new employee orientation process
  • Handle employee recognition and all other office event planning
  • Assist with handling insurance correspondence.
Other general support duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Quick Books experience (required)
  • BA or BS degree in business or comparable work experience
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A pleasant, polished, can-do attitude
  • Strong track record of experience in administrative, office and/or project management
  • Ability to collaborate and approach projects as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
  • Must have a valid VA driver's license and insured vehicle
