Primary responsibility of this position will be toprovide technical support for the Bakken non-operated development. Thesuccessful candidate will work in Houston with other team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to serve ascross-functional support as an Engineering or Geoscience Technician

• Work with ReservoirPerformance to understand and quantify the production impacts from differencesin competitor completion designs

• Perform and collaboratewith the Williston Implementation Team and/or Reservoir Characterization Teamon subsurface and well performance studies as needed

• Update, create andmanage database materials

• Research databaseerrors and provide solutions

• Maintain and buildupon functionality in Spotfire tools

• Assist engineers inthe analysis and presentation of the data

• Build and format Excelspreadsheets, manipulating data between Excel and Access and other platforms

• Retrieve and analyzeproduction, financial and KPI data used in program management, trend analysisand benchmarking discussions

• Retrieve and organizewell information, completion and production data

• Track life cycle datesof well (Spud, Rig Release, Online) by reviewing drilling & Completionreports for key events

• Assist engineers inall stages of development, analysis and presentation of data using knowledge ofspreadsheets and other company software such as Generwell, Wellview, PEEP,Mosaic, OFM, Enerdeq, Openworks, and Spotfire etc.

• Coordinate and assistengineers with reserves analysis and documentation.

• Coordinate documentmanagement initiatives

• Contact partners toretrieve missing reports or data

• Proactively seek outnew data and sources that could help gain insights into what is happening inthe basin

• Lead data improvementinitiatives such as digital partner data exchanges

• Support LRP andoutlook process as it relates to the OBO program

• Support post-auditreviews on OBO projects and incorporate findings future evaluations and in theoperated program

• The individual shouldbe self-motivated and capable of independent problem solving withoutsupervision while involving multiple groups or disciplines.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


• Legally authorized towork in the United States

• 7+ years of relevantexperience on data gathering, data management and data manipulation in avariety of software applications

• 5+ years of experienceas an Engineering or Geoscience Technician

• Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Proficient in Spotfire

• Intermediateprogramming skills (example: VBA, Python, etc.)

Preferred Skills


• 7+ years of previousoil industry experience

• Bachelor's degree orhigher, preferably in engineering, computer-related field, science

• High level ofinitiative, energy, and creativity

• Strong analyticalskills with a practical approach to problem-solving

• Organizational skills- ability to prioritize responsibilities

• Adaptability to achanging environment

• Eagerness to learn andgrow professionally
