This is a salaried position with a range of $120-150K DOE. The role is based onsite in San Carlos, CA

Technical Project Manager

CelLink Corporation makes the world’s largest and most electrically- and thermally-conductive flexible circuits. We are a fast-growing team of skilled engineers and manufacturing experts who are fundamentally redefining the way printed circuits are made. CelLink performs research, development and manufacturing in San Carlos, CA.

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Project Manager to join our team and apply their skills to manage the design and procurement of custom, proprietary manufacturing equipment to support and enhance the production of CelLink’s innovative flex circuits.

**Duties for this position include: **

  • Manage complete equipment design/build projects – from concept design to process qualification and release to operations.
  • Manage outside equipment design firms and integrators to deliver equipment according to CelLink specifications
  • Track project statuses and timelines - provide regular updates to senior management
  • Model and track project budgets – work with engineering staff to achieve program cost goals
  • Systematically apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software components to identify and solve problems
  • Work closely with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers and Operators to meet equipment requirements and make improvements to existing systems
  • Manage procurement of resources to complete projects

**Requirements: **

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or other technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a member of technical staff (engineering, operations, etc…)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar experience in a role with another title
  • Deep, fluent experience with project management – familiarity with at least one type of project management software
  • Experience managing and tracking project budgets and costs
  • Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and develop new technology
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mind set
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

**A qualified candidate will have a subset of these skills: **

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with design and construction of custom manufacturing equipment
  • Experience negotiating cost, resources and timelines with equipment vendors or integrators
  • Experience with design and construction of roll-to-roll manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with design and construction of complex, high-precision mechanical and electrical systems
