The Department of Security for Cedars-Sinai provides 24/7 security services for our Medical Center and its other satellite locations.
Our primary goal is to provide visitors, staff, and faculty a secure and safe environment, and do it in a courteous, professional manner that lives up to the mission of this institution that provides quality healthcare and medical research for the community it serves. The Lead Command Center Operator is responsible for daily operational and general lead/supervision of all Command Center Operator staff. You will monitor quality of service provided in the Command Centers and ensures completeness, accuracy and conformance with organizational and departmental standards.
You will provide information, instruction and training on work processes, proper uses of equipment and safe work practices. You will oversee staffing, discipline and performance evaluations for all Command Center Operator staff. You will notify and partner with Security management team on significant security incidents, personnel matters, budgetary or staffing issues.
In addition, meet with all shift Command Center Operators and Supervisors at shift change to provide departmental or community security updates, guidance and to address any questions or concerns. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. License/Certification/Registration Requirements California Guard Card and California Driver License required.
POST Public Safety Dispatcher Basic Course preferred. Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant security or former law enforcement dispatch experience.
