Summary:

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO) is providing case management services for the Hurricane Ida. This project will serve 8 impacted parishes. CCANO will employ Case Manager Supervisors who will provide oversight and support to the CCANO Spirit of Hope team. The Case Manager Supervisor will ensure that the program objectives are fulfilled, provide support to the case managers, and ensure that clients and staff are treated fairly and with respect.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

This position requires strong organizational, relational, and communication skills plus the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. The Case Manager Supervisor will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to provide excellent customer service under these circumstances. Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential and data base management preferred. Applicant should have demonstrated the ability to relate well to people of diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds and have a commitment to CCANO's mission. Reliable transportation and the ability to be mobile is required since the majority of time will be spent in Plaquemines, St. John, and Jefferson Parish.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required and four years experience in the social service field preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required. Bilingual applicants preferred.

Essential Functions:
Supervise CCANO Case Managers and hold them accountable for the quantity and quality of service.
Serve as a resource to the Case Managers, providing guidance and consultation on all cases and assisting them in developing partnerships and working relationships.
Resolve client complaints and disputes and be available to respond to emerging and critical issues.
Monitor the quality of the services provided and identify areas in need of improvement.
Schedule regular staff meeting to inform the case managers of the program progress, achieve objectives and discuss issues specific to their territory.
Effectively communicate the program objective and model as well as any changes during the grant period.
Ensure program fidelity to the model by following operational guidelines, process and adequate utilizations and documentation of case files and forms.
Review all case files for proper documentation of eligibility, client information and needs, release of information documents, and confidentiality agreements.
Work with case manager on clients' recovery plan development and implementation. Discussing any obstacles or concerns in the recovery of the client.
Approve cases for eligibility, assign tier level and approve cases for closure.
Attend assigned meetings, actively networks in area of service to develop resources with agencies that assist individuals and families in need, and advocate on behalf of clients and the case management program.
Follow DCMP policies and guidelines
Ensure that a master list of clients is maintained and current at all times; maintain up- to-date master list of all case manager's clients.
Ensure case managers are aware of community resources and access them to address client needs.
Review all Apricot records for data entry accuracy and compliance, following program guidelines for Apricot file audits
Consistently provide training to case managers on relevant and emerging topics.
Maintain open communication with Program Director.
Additional functions as determined by the Program Director.

Case Manager Supervisor reports to the Program Director.
