Job Description

The IT Operations Lead provides technical support to Catapult staff. The incumbent must have a fundamental and broad knowledge of modern operating systems, hardware, and networks. Responsible for managing, and/or supporting both local and remote users, networks, and server/storage infrastructure. This position will be the lead position for the Catapult Charlotte office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, upgrade, and monitor software/hardware.
  • Troubleshoot end-user incidents
  • Prioritize tickets submitted to the IT department
  • Meet with departments across the company to understand their technological needs
  • Ensure successful implementation of various technologies
  • Support and lead critical infrastructure, Office 365 and support for IT systems that facilitate growth for the business
  • Establish trusted partnerships with peers and colleagues throughout Catapult
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and anticipate business IT needs and prioritize and implement IT projects
  • Effectively balance break/fix work and project work to help drive key business objectives
  • Encourage open and effective two-way communication with team and customers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Provide on-site support for hardware and software systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory administration, including group policy, sites, DNS, DHCP, Offic3 365, Printers
  • Working (Intermediate) knowledge of WAN/LAN technologies and troubleshooting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and the ability to learn and troubleshoot Mac OS
  • Audio/Visual device set up and management
  • Asset procurement and vendor management
  • Demonstrated complex issue resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

TRAVEL

Must be willing to travel to all Catapult Office's as needed (Charlotte, Raleigh, High Point, NC)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3-5 years of related work experience in technical operations and support

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of related experience
  • AA/AS degree in a related field plus 3+ years' experience
  • Certifications in one or more of the following areas preferred: CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco
