Feed Sales

Caslewood Elevator is looking for a self motivated full time salesperson for our feed department!

Starting Pay $60,000 DOE

Full-Time Feed Salesperson

This position will be full time, normal hours will be 8-5 Monday through Friday, additional hours and weekend hours are mandatory during peak seasons.

Summary/Objective

The Feed Salespersons responsibilities include providing the highest level of service for Castlewood Farmers Elevator Customers. You must be customer focused, be hard working, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Meet the needs and resolve problems of current customers, and prospect new customers
• Build relationships and form mutual trust with new and current customers to understand their needs
• Customize feeding programs that precisely meet the producers practices, pastures and preferences
• Performing cleaning and maintenance to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and co-workers
• Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies
• Maintains company facilities, personal workspace, company equipment, and company vehicles
• Complete all safety reports and required record keeping
• Delivery of products to customers
• Assist with managing bulk and bag inventories.
• Assist manager to grow business by continuing to expand knowledge of products and services
• Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers and similar equipment
• Help with other departments as needed

Requirements

• Experience in sales and/or business development
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, climbing/descending stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered normal when required.
• Clean Driving record is required
• Class A CDL preferred
