Job Location:      Wilmington, Delaware

Status/Hours:     Full Time / Non-Exempt

Hours:                  Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)

Carvertise is presently on the hunt for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to come onboard! In this role you will have the opportunity to reshape the entire Carvertise technical stack. We are looking to take technology to the next level and need an engineer to spearhead the effort of researching, designing, building, and deploying state of the art solutions to allow Carvertise to continue to scale.


Primary Role Responsibilities Include:


  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
  • Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including writing/modifying user stories, designing solutions based on requirements, developing test plans, and creating technical documentation.
  • Deliver high-quality code by creating unit tests and ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability requirements are met by maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
  • Ensure that technical software development process is followed and drive continuous improvement through thoughtful feedback and ideas.
  • Remain current in state-of-the-art software frameworks and programming methods and continually hone your craft

  • A software development engineer with 5+ years of experience with modern development technologies capable of architecting, building, and integrating platforms to deliver web-based solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations.
  • Interested in building sustainable software by creating documentation, building unit tests, and automating the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Enthusiastic about working in collaborative team environments to find creative solutions for challenging engineering problems.
  • Ready to learn new technologies, improve your skills, and advance your career!




  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise-grade software development.
  • Proficiency designing and developing web applications in a secure and scalable way using various technologies and languages such as Angular, React, Node.js.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in database design and SQL.
  • Experience with building and/or integrating CRM solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins, Teamcity.
  • Experience with automated unit/integration testing, code-coverage and quality tools like SonarQube, Ndepend.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Docker, etc.
  • Experience developing mobile applications is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
