About the role:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will actively hunt for growth opportunities to drive our business forward.  You will establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to understand customer needs and provide the right mix of ADESA products and services to meet those needs. You will contribute to and enjoy the rewards of success in an innovative atmosphere, as a valued member of our ADESA community. 


Primary responsibilities include:

Actively pursue and engage with prospects

Generate new business leads and close deals

Effectively execute ADESA's Dealer Sales strategy

Prospect, upsell, and manage accounts to ensure growth in vehicles sold and purchased

Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner

Demonstrate knowledge of products and services

Maximize technology

About you:

You are a true sales hunter, passionate about automotive, highly self-motivated to drive sales and close deals.  You're persistent, focused, and have a knack for connecting with others.  You enjoy networking & building relationships within the automotive industry. You may already have existing connections or relationships throughout your local dealership communities. Your professionalism and communication skills are top notch and you use them consistently to develop new opportunities.


You will experience success if you possess these attributes:

Sales-focused, with an innovative and systematic approach

High School or GED required; College education preferred

Proven success in sales

Territory management experience

Automotive industry experience preferred (wholesale remarketing a plus)

Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possesses a valid driver's license
