•Review and distribute work •Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates, as well as any changes that might arise with a given project •Work with warehouse manager on inventory levels, material ordering and shipment. •Hold weekly meetings with supervisors and sales department about upcoming project schedules •Identify problems that might arise with a project and evaluate options and implement solutions •Review documents for each project, assure that all details are being communicated from sales, to supervisors, to then the field crew. •Revise schedule when needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions; collaborating with management, sales, and supervisors for such schedule revisions •Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays. •Contact supplier to verify shipment details •Manage new job and work orders that come in for previous projects •Call in locates for the upcoming scheduled projects •Go through files weekly – monthly and check on open jobs, and check on their status, material shipments, and completion. •Order and Track incoming materials
•Data Entry Skills •Phone Skills required •One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
