The Cost Controller will be responsible for supporting the business with best in class analysis for decision making, including pricing, costing, and driving effectiveness and cost reduction while ensuring adequate control environment exists.

What you’ll do as a Cost Controller:

• Coordinate the P&L analysis on actuals versus budget and forecast and drive the corrective actions to address the potential gaps and opportunities
• Coordinate the post calculation process, reporting and analysis of estimate versus actual result by customer, SKU, and programs
• Responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and governance of the costing model
• Prepare and monitor team goals and objectives while providing leadership support and a good atmosphere to pursue the goals and objectives
• Coordinate the budget and forecast processes ensuring ownership on the preparation and on the variance analysis (budget vs. actuals); ensure the plans are on time in full (OTIF)
• Working Capital management, improvements, suggestions and implementation
• Capex control, DCF preparation for capex requests and post-mortem analysis on investments done
• Ensure proper controls are in place in the shop floor to guarantee accuracy of the hours and materials allocation to the jobs
• Support the external audit of the financials and practices
• Develop the team to strengthen the finance organization and thus support the business in the best way while creating career growth opportunities

We’re looking for a Cost Controller with:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in a medium to large size manufacturing organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related areas or Master’s degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent certification.
• Pricing and costing analysis experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Ability to manage KPI’s.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

• Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
• Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
• Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
• This Cost Controller position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
