The Loss Mitigation Administration Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and supporting the business needs of the Loss Mitigation department to ensure visibility to required data and to ensure continued compliance with regulatory, including CFPB, state and investor, company and departmental mortgage servicing and loss mitigation requirements. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

What you'll do:

  • Identify business reporting and automation needs and determines the appropriate systems and tools to develop and maintain such reporting and automation solutions to meet those needs.
  • P art i c i p a t es i n m e e t i n g s to i d e n t i f y re g u l a to r y & investor r e q ui r ed c h a n g e s, analyzes the impact of the changes to the business reporting, policies, process flows and procedures and facilitates the required updates accordingly.
  • Document business process flows to identify opportunities for improvement to provide business unit efficiencies while remaining compliant with regulatory guidelines.
  • Facilitates departmental training by creating and maintaining technical materials and policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CFPB, investor, state, company and departmental guidelines.
  • Develops and manages scripting, letter, document and website projects to ensure projects implemented timely for continued compliance with CFPB, investor, state, company and departmental guidelines.
  • W o r k s t o g e th e r w i th t h e EVP, SVP, VP, D i r e c tor, M a n a g er a n d S u p er v i s ors to e n h a n c e d e p a r t m e n t w or k f l ow and pro c e ss e s, to draft & distribute departmental communications .
  • Acts as Loss Mitigation Acquisition/Transfer Coordinator to ensure appropriate processes created and adhered to in order to complete timely acquisition or servicing transfer.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert and Administrator of the department's SharePoint site to continuously improve and enhance the functionality of the site.
  • Facilitates Loss Mitigation vendor scorecard process to ensure vendor adherence to contracted KPI metrics.
  • Responsible for creation of business presentations.

What you need:

  • H i gh S c h o o l d i p l o m a or equivalent
  • Four (4) years of combined experience in loss mitigation or mortgage servicing
  • Experience with process workflows and using reporting or technology to streamline processes
  • Three (3) or more years' experience with moderate to advanced technical responsibilities is preferred
