Multi-state (Southeast US) Commercial Refrigeration company specializing in Supermarket Refrigeration/HVAC service provider is looking for experienced Service Technicians, Installation Technicians and PM Techs in the Charleston SC and surrounding area to service existing customers in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Qualified Technicians must possess and be able to demonstrate knowledge of Commercial Refrigeration service, installation, maintenance, and repair. Must understand the operation of Parallel Rack systems and controls. CO2 refrigeration operation a plus.
PM Technicians must be able to take temperature measurements, refrigerant pressures, clean condensers, check voltage and amp readings, be able to use a refrigerant leak detector.
Training available for candidates that have a solid mechanical background and understanding of conventional refrigeration systems
Competitive compensation of $18.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience.
A tiered sign on bonus up to $5000.00 to the best applicants--details of the sign on bonus are discussed during the interview process.
Technician Requirements
Valid Driver’s License/Clean Driving Record
Pass pre-employment drug screening/background check
Type I/II EPA Certification (preferably universal certification)
3+ years experience—Wages based on experience level
Possess own hand tools to include electrical meters, gauges and portable power tools
Work overtime when needed and work a rotating on-call schedule
Willing to travel and work in other geographical areas of the company a plus
Company Provides
Work Vehicle and company credit card for fuel purchases
Company telephone, company laptop or tablet if needed
Major tools assigned to the vehicle include but not limited to ladders, torch kits, recovery machine, refrigerant scales. Other items needed will be discussed/provided once approved by supervision
