Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

· Strong electrical knowledge of circuit breakers and fixtures Experience in one or more of the following: Allen Bradley, PLC/SLC500/RSlogix/ControlLogix/Micrologix/Panelvie

· Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment/parts

· Responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment Repair all electrical/mechanical control problems for all manufacturing equipment

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

High School Diploma/GED, Associate Degree in a related field of study preferred

Experience:

Must have skill and 3+ years of experience in several of the following areas:

· Strong knowledge of all electrical voltage and ability to trouble shoot electro-mechanical equipment (24, 110, 240 and 480 V) Single Phase and 3 Phase A/C and D/C

· Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (timing machines, gears, pulley, etc.)

· Robotics and PLC troubleshooting and repair-Fanuc Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

· Complex automated conveyor systems

· Fork truck, man lift, and crane operation training and/or certification. Will train to our specifics

Other:

· 1-3 years’ maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or equivalent training

· 1-3 years’ experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLCs and VDFs Electrical experience required

· Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and blueprints

· Demonstrate project work in a team-environment

· Can work independently on projects or related tasks

· Must be willing and able to work overtime or off-shifts

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Microsoft Office-Excel and Outlook
