Our sales representatives act as their own entities, which means we are looking for independent people who want to be in charge of themselves. About the Job
Carlson Fabrication Solutions, Inc. is seeking an outside machinery sales representative that will be responsible for most of the northern territory of New England, particularly in Maine. Carlson Fab (carlsonfab.com) is a leading Metal Fabrication Machinery and tooling distributor located in the Boston area, with exclusive dealership rights to Mitsubishi Brakes, Fiber Lasers and TimeSavers deburring machinery in the Northeast of the US. These massive machines can be priced from $30,000 all the way to $1,500,000+, and landing sales in our territory may turn out to be highly lucrative for our sales representatives. Currently, 2021 is on pace to double that of 2020 – so sales reps are desperately needed. Our company plans to grow and expand our reach into new regions, and we are looking for someone to help make that happen.

Since the position is commission-only after initial training (salary will be paid during training), we expect our ideal candidate to be a flexible, self-taught individual who wants to sell and earn their pay. With brands such as Mitsubishi and Timesavers, our machines can basically sell themselves, it just takes a good sales rep to find the businesses who require them. General business acumen and familiarity with the machinery is a plus, as it will help to land sales with important clientele.
If you have any experience with Fiber Optic Lasers, Press Brakes, Deburring Machines or saws as an operator or sales please state this clearly your background in your resume or cover letter. Classroom experience may be used as a substitute for practical experience. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are a must. The salesperson must be ambitious, positive thinking and hardworking to properly reach their designated sales goals. Your sales territory will require a need for a personal automobile, which we do not provide. Gas is paid for, however.
In addition to the primary sales position, our recent plans for expansion include selling nationwide on directmachines.com. With directmachines.com we are currently receiving requests for quotations from all over the USA. With your help, this opportunity can grow salary potential, as most of the selling will be done online. This part of the job would require no driving.

This is a commission only job with a monthly allowance for travel expenses. Training period will be salaried.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Estimated $24,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year – variable due to the nature of sales and the current COVID economy.
Any visits to customers must follow all COVID-19 guidelines put out by the cdc.
