Marketing Communications Specialist II

Responsibilities:

 

The Marketing Communications Specialist - Social Media & E-mail will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our branded social media and e-mail marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and increase sales.  Using a solid understanding of social media channels, this role will plan, post and optimize content to engage consumers and drive traffic to our retailers.  This role will also be responsible for developing an outreach plan to join relevant conversations in various channels on behalf of our business and our brand to provide support and product information for current and prospective consumers.

 

This role will be responsible for:

 

Develop, implement, monitor and optimize content for our branded social media and e-mail programs.  This includes creation and maintenance of editorial calendars for 7 branded social media channels and 3 e-mail marketing programs.

Sources, writes, designs, edits weekly and monthly content for social media and e-mail programs that drives measurable consumer engagement.  Content could include post text, images, video, or contests (leveraging our contest tool).

Daily moderation of all social media channels and engage with the community.

Responds to, elevates, and maintains consumer communication for customer service issues that arise through social media and e-mail channels.

Monitor industry and competitive social media and e-mail channels to help our brands stay timely and relevant

Support Marketing Managers and Marketing Communications Leads to define and report key performance metrics for campaigns and initiatives.

Develops key metrics, reports regularly and optimizes approach to achieve goals.  Continuously improve our engagement and metrics by regularly analyzing performance and insights and optimizing approach accordingly.

Stays up to date with the latest in social media and e-mail marketing trends and our trade industry
