A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Lead stakeholder meetings to keep projects on time and budget and elevate concerns to management when appropriate
- Assist with significant Merger and Acquisition activity within the company
Requirements:
- Must possess an active Virginia license
- Minimum of 1 year in a project management role
- Minimum of bachelor's degree preferred
- Possession of PMP Certification (or higher) strongly preferred
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- A working understanding of agile project methodology
- Ability to apply and analyze data as it pertains to quality and compliance metrics
- Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
- Ability to understand simple health care metrics and KPIs and how they relate to integration project work
Requirements:
- Must possess an active Virginia license
