Position Overview

Care Access is building research sites across the United States to find patients eligible to take advantage of potentially life-changing pre-market medication. Part of this work involves identifying how and where to set up our clinical teams and ensuring that they have all the tools they need for success. This role will work closely with the supply chain and infrastructure teams. They also need to work closely with the relationship managers of the research site.


What You'll Be Working On:

  • You understand how to take a space (hospital room, community health center, parking lot, tent, etc.) and turn it into a research site, ensuring safety and effectiveness are your top priorities.
  • Setting up clinical research sites is second nature to you.
  • You will be called to support other short-term events like simulations, site events for screening, and covid testing (field operations).
  • Coordination with vendors as needed.
  • Manage deployment teams: you will be responsible for ensuring the MSV specialists know what, when, and where they need to be for a build.
  • Create meaningful process improvements as we scale the team.
  • Work closely with the Site Setup Managers to create timelines and plans for deployments. Contribute recommendations that lead to success.
  • Help to execute on the mission for site setup (short term or long-term decentralized research site, central site delivery…etc).
  • Your communication is impeccable.
  • You are not afraid to do something new or different.
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are initially sourced at DCT locations in a timely fashion, considering all logistical implications (e.g. cost, distance, vendors, shippers).
  • Fetch any equipment, supplies or other items needed for DCT locations in immediate fashion.


Physical and Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% nationwide


What You Bring


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Excellent working knowledge of federal regulations, good clinical practices (GCP)
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse team of professionals
  • Strong organizational skills: Able to prioritize, support, and follow through on assignments
  • Communication Skills: extremely strong verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by positive interactions with coworkers, management, clients and vendors
  • Team Collaboration Skills: Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members to accomplish mutual goals. Bring positive and supportive attitude to achieving these goals
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities using clinical trials database, IVR systems, electronic data capture, MS word and excel
  • Ability to balance tasks with competing priorities
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Curiosity and passion to learn, innovate, able to take thoughtful risks and get things done
  • Friendly, outgoing personality; maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • High level of self-motivation and energy

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a research coordinator, assistant, or RN or medical practitioner.
