Job Description

We are seeking a Direct-hire HR Generalist to join our team! You will assist HR Manager with all departmental/Human Resources and related functions.  Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees.  

  • Day shift
  • Multiple openings are available!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of policies and procedures in the area of human resources including:
    • Benefits
    • Safety and Health
    • Employee Work Rules and Regulations
    • Employee Orientation
    • Training 
  • Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
  • On-board and train new employees
  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Prepare employee meeting minutes, letters, memorandums, and other documents as required.
  • Prepare monthly employee meeting presentations and present as required
  • Prepare employee notices, letters, memorandums, and other documents as required.
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
  • Have a daily presence on the shop floor and provide flexible coverage across all shifts when required
  • Accurately maintain employee files

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources field 
  • HR-related certification/degree
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Workday
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
