Waste Receptacle Assembly

Summary/Objective
The person performing in this area is responsible for handling all aspects of assembling scales and subassemblies in the waste receptacle work center.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Verifies parts requirement list against parts inventory in work area to ensure supply for assembly.
2. Assembles parts and subassemblies, such as lid assemblies and can assembly using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
3. Assembles components and subassemblies of various types of steps on waste receptacles.
4. May assemble complete receptacle or work at position on assembly line.
5. May test receptacle for accuracy, adjust parts by using hand tools.
6. Final pack by cleaning, prepping, and placing receptacle in box requiring lifting at least 30lbs repeatedly.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Two (2) years of factory/manufacturing experience or assembly line work.
