Position: Associate in Training

Compensation: $60,000 Annually (~$150,000 once in Associate position)

Capstone Tax Consulting, Inc. is a mid-size tax resolution and preparation firm dedicated to the representation of businesses and individuals who are delinquent with IRS or State tax debt or currently under audit. Our client services team is committed to providing the best possible representation and tailed solutions to our clients. To that end, Capstone is seeking to add an Associate to its team to manage a portion of those clients. While experience in tax resolution is preferred, we can train the right candidates – it is estimated that the person hired will train for the Associate position for 3-6 months.

Capstone's Associates must be Enrolled Agents.

Job Details

• Represent Capstone's clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various states to secure a formal resolution of their case

• Review and analyze financial documents to determine the best possible resolution strategy

• Manage a client services team of two support staff members who will assist in the resolution determination and implementation

• Consistent and constant communication with Capstone's clients to educate them on the status of the case and to ensure they are satisfied with resolution strategy and status

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, or studying to pass the three requisite tests

• Experience in the tax resolution preferred, but not required

• Must possess an extremely high-level of professionalism and high standard of client services

• Must be articulate and possess superior verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and taxing authorities

• Must have good moral values and always willing to put the client first

• Intense desire for success, good work ethic, and most importantly, a good attitude
