headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: analyze user needs and Software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time/cost constraints; design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles); Store/retrieve/ manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements; code/integrate/implement/install/change frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management; develop languages/ methods/frameworks/tools, and/or undertake activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments; analyze information to determine/recommend/plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications; act as Software Engineering stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a (limited) number of technology areas; initiate and maintain client relationships; and anticipate and identify client issues and concerns and proposes advice as appropriate; contribute to bids or client proposals based on technological expertise; act as a team leader with delivery ownership, and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes; monitor and direct workflow of smaller consulting projects or segments of larger projects, including design of project plans.
Basic Qualifications: These positions require a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology/Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered, as Programmer/Developer, Systems/Business Analyst, Tester or related IT position. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards any U.S. bachelor's degree plus 3 years of IT experience.
The applicant must also have experience with: any period of experience working with software application development and integration tools, including IBM Websphere, TIBCO, Webmethods, Hybris, Adobe, AWS, Azure, or Google; any period of experience using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and emerging trends; any period of experience working with software development methodologies, including Agile, or Waterfall; any period of experience working with SDLC processes and methodologies; and any period of experience guiding a team through the software development process.
