The overall purpose of the Housekeeping Assistant position is to perform scheduled housekeeping tasks as may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor. This position may mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc. and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.
· Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
· Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
· Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
