Our next step is to take our service to market and write the next big security technology success story. We’re all in. Are you? We’re looking for an energized Senior Developer Advocate to join our Platform Engineering team.

Our team’s goal is to build the API powering all-things vehicle security. As a Senior Developer Advocate, you’ll be building elegant applications demonstrating the Canopy API. This unique role is a combination of technical knowledge, creativity and communication skills. What you’ll do Lead engineering efforts for the initial product definition of, our developer portal Be hands-on.

Collaborate with firmware, UX, and mobile application teams to develop fully functioning applications that shape the developer experience Be a critical resource for our top external developers and partners to facilitate adoption of the product Create high-quality technical content like blogs, demos, talks, videos, and social posts Requirements Skills and experience that will help you be successful in this position: 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience with deep experience in NodeJS 3+ years experience in a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular) Experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Jest, Mocha) Experience with Typescript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems An excitement and willingness to both learn and share with others. Someone who approaches problems with resilience and curiosity would be well-suited for this position Active contributor to open-source software projects Empathy for users of our software and teammates you work with; our team is highly collaborative Experience and qualities that will set you apart, but are not required: Experience in library/SDK development Experience with WebRTC streaming Experience with GraphQL Benefits Both applying for and joining a new team can be daunting.
