Account Manager

Location: Monterey, CA

We are a cannabis distribution company, located out of northern and southern California. We are seeking Account Managers to develop and maintain relationships with co-ops and dispensaries in California. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader in a company that is growing exponentially. We’re looking for qualified, organized, energetic and knowledgeable account managers to join our team. You must be well versed in the cannabis industry and have a proven track record of generating revenue. You will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business via cold-calling, in-store presentations, and participation in industry trade shows and networking events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acquire and develop new accounts with cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, & retailers

• Generate revenue by selling and managing sales of cannabis and cannabis related products to dispensaries and also to commercial accounts

• Help develop promotional programs

• Maintain a CRM sales pipeline

• Create relevant sales materials

• Work closely with operations to develop sales strategies

• Travel as necessary to support sales


• Experience supporting commercial and retail accounts with exceptional sales service

• Knowledge of California cannabis rules, and regulations at the state, regional and local levels.

• Must have 2+ years of sales experience

• Must have experience in the cannabis industry

• Must have dependable transportation and a valid, clean driving license

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive and CRM software

• List of existing relationships with current cannabis accounts (preferred)

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Details:

• Location: Monterey, CA

  • This position operates in various locations and environments including offices, stores, warehouses and event venues across Southern California-Northern California.

• This is a full-time position, and general hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position will regularly require long hours and frequent weekends. Although most

business is local, this position will sometimes require single day and overnight travel

•Starting Salary: Depends on Experience + commission

• Compensation is based upon relevant experience. We offer a base salary, bonus, and commission package. We are growing and there’s an unlimited amount of potential for the right individual
