Job Description

Location: Concord, ON
Term: Permanent Position
Salary: $60,000 annually - minimum (based on experience)

 

Overview:
The company manufactures high quality, closure hardware systems for all vehicle applications.
With facilities in North America and Europe, and representation in all major markets, the
company is a world-class full-service supplier providing stamped, profile, cast and forged hinge
systems for all applications including door, hood, trunk, liftgate/decklid and sliding doors and
closure checking, assist and power devices. The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will ensure smooth and timely delivery of services to
employees.


Requirements:
The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
 Administer ADP system
 Transmit payroll to ADP
 Review and distribute payroll
 Manual cheques
 Monthly Journal Entries
 Administering KRONOS system
 Exception reports and report changes
 Billing safety shoes
 Maintain Personnel records
 New employee orientation
 Preparing record of employment, vacation pay, T4 for Revenue Canada, WSIB accident
reports
 Review Vacation requests
 Maintain/update deductions for employee life insurance
 Maintain/update deductions for employee long term disability
 Maintain Benefit program
 Sunware monthly billing report
 Benefits package after 3-month probation
 RRSP package after 1-year service
 Claim forms review and submitting
 Reporting monthly earnings and RRSP contributions to head office
 Monthly overtime records
 Government of Canada Source deductions, Stats-Can Reports, Hiring Reports
 Ontario WCB remittances and
 Ontario Employer health tax remittance
 Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
 Payroll compliance practitioner designation
 5 to 10 years of experience with payroll and benefits administration required for a company
of 500 or more employees
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of
people from different organizations as well as internally with all levels of employees in a
multicultural environment
 Computer literate in Windows based systems (ie: MS Excel/MS Word)
 Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
 Ability to read, write and speak English
