Senior Operations ManagerPosition Summary

The Senior Operations Manager reports to the Senior Vice President, Operations and Finance and will manage a broad and diverse range of responsibilities and assignments to support the Operations and Finance team. This position will oversee various special projects, managing these projects from initiation to closeout, defining scope, key deliverables, risk, and milestones. This position will be responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operational processes and will build operational policies and strategies that keep CLC functioning smoothly.

  • Work with the Senior Vice President, Operations and Finance to identify special projects and then define their scope and objectives.
  • Improve operational processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
  • Create long and short-term plans, including targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain standards.
  • Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Enterprise Risk Management initiative in coordination with Senior Vice President, Operations and Finance.
  • Serve as liaison with external IT vendor.
  • Provide oversight of internal safety and security processes and conduct annual training.
  • Serve as point of contact for vendors, building management, security services, and other external parties
  • Serve as internal point of contact for operational questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Provide presentations and operations updates to staff and leadership, as requested.
  • Proactively handle project issues and/or risks.
  • Administer the organization’s operational insurance policies.
  • Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans.
  • Oversee the logistics for onsite CLC events.
  • Manage a small team with responsibilities for maintaining office supplies and inventory list.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Extraordinary staff and project management skills and the proven ability to manage many details and diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • Creative problem-solver.
  • At least ten years applied and related work experience.
