SUMMER CAMP SCIENCE TEACHER

***HIRING ASAP FOR SUMMER 2021

Superhero Teachers at Camp Live Oak understand how stressful this year must have been with online learning, and we would like to thank you for everything you have done for our campers during the school year.

Summer break is coming, and most of you are ready to put those planning books aside and enjoy your summer.

What if you could enjoy your summer while working? Sounds too good to be true, but it's not!

All of our counselors/teachers are certified Broward County Teachers, including myself, and LOVE the work they do at camp. This isn't your average classroom either. Our classroom’s air is fresh and filled with the smell of flowers; it's lit up by the sun, cooled down by the ocean breeze, has picnic tables as desks, and a canopy of trees as our ceiling!

As a Summer Camp Science, you will enhance each camper’s sense of self-worth by providing opportunities, through active play, to develop self-confidence as they embrace guided risks through interaction with nature.

Your job is to keep our campers SAFE at all times, stay upbeat and positive so our campers can have so much fun that each memory will last a lifetime!

With that, we are looking for energetic, upbeat, and passionate Certified Teachers, Substitutes, Outdoor Educators, or former Camp people to participate and guide children through activities such as canoeing, fishing, archery, science, and arts and crafts. Applicants will be working outside, rain or shine, so a positive attitude and a love of the outdoors is a MUST.

If you love being outside surrounded by nature and positively impacting children's lives, then this job is perfect for you!

  • Willingness to undergo background check/fingerprinting.
  • Camp experience is a plus!
