Job Description

Our production facility is a state of the art liquid filling operation. If you enjoy leading a team of highly effective individuals in a fast-paced and high energy work environment then you will thrive as the Technical Manager. As the Technical Manager, you will develop or improve maintenance and mixing KPI's, including involvement in goal setting for the plant, and planning and execution of production goals.

 

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Supervise a workforce of Maintenance Supervisors and hourly full-time associates performing activities in the following areas: Maintenance, Facilities, Mixing/Blending.

  • Develop or improve maintenance and mixing KPIs, including involvement in goal setting for the plant, and planning and execution of production goals.

  • Collaborate with a strong and high performing leadership team, including the Shift Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Manager and the EHS coordinator to meet high safety standards and drive improvement.

  • Maintain an equipment program with preventative and corrective maintenance plans. Drive continuous improvement.

  • Assign work and monitor progress, execute staffing needs, evaluate associate work performance and drive accountability, & coordinate facilities and maintenance scheduling to meet business needs.

  • Communicate, implement and monitor safety programs and procedures.

  • Prepare and/or maintain various logs, records and reports, such as production, maintenance, inventory, etc.; may purchase supplies, parts and/or equipment; may assist in developing and monitoring the budget. Perform statistical analysis to evaluate the data and make recommendations for process or equipment improvements.

  • Analyze forward forecast models and recommend CapEx improvement for meeting strategic market demand.

  • Assist the Plant Manager in directing the overall operation of the plant, performing special projects as needed.

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance/manufacturing

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills

  • Solid working knowledge in all required software and ERP systems

  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively\
