Job Description
My pharma client is expanding and seeks a Senior Research Associate, In Vivo Surgery to take on the following tasks:
- Conduct rodent surgeries, including stereotaxic.
- Contribute to preclinical research of pain and other relevant diseases.
- Develop and improve tissue collection and surgery procedures.
- Perform preliminary experimental data analyses and create draft study reports.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- BS/MS degree and 5+ years laboratory experience working with rats or mice.
- 2+ years of rodent dosing, tissue collection, and surgery experience.
- Compliance with SOPs and IACUC, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- MS Office and statistical software experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team with organizational and troubleshooting skills.
