Job Description
We are searching for a Production Scheduler.   Our client is a growing leader in providing precision machined components and assemblies to a wide variety of industries including aerospace, medical, and industrial. They
serve regional and global manufacturing companies with locations throughout the United States from its production facility in Sanford, North Carolina. They Are working to create a first- class business structure to facilitate strong growth and superior product.

The Production Scheduler will ensure all operations of production are met to satisfy customer delivery dates. This person will approach opportunities with an open mind, an orientation
towards results, and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to, for the Production Scheduler:
 Create and maintain production schedule, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing operations.
 Serve as a liaison between the production department and sales department to communicate customer needs and current production abilities.
 Communicate production schedules out to the production floor based on customer orders and upcoming deadlines
 Effect changes to production schedule to ensure that deadlines are met.
 Promptly inform all relevant departments of changes to current schedule(s).
 Other tasks as assignment by management
Qualifications and Expectations for the Production Scheduler:
 High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
 3-5 years in a scheduling/planning role in a manufacturing environment.
 Broad understanding of the manufacturing industry, including terminology, technology and business practices.
 Excellent oral and written communications skills through all levels of management
 Self-motivated; ability to work independently as well as to operate in a team setting; excellent collaboration skills
 Demonstrated organizational skills to ensure achievement of desired results
 Ability to respond quickly to changing demands, processes, and updated information
