Job Description

330-seat family-friendly casual dining steakhouse providing good-old fashioned, friendly service, serving high-quality, hand-cut, dry-aged steaks, all in a sports themed atmosphere.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Integral part of the management team to ensuring the best service, outstanding quality of food and entertainment and driving sales to the bottom-line.

 

Maintain an extensive floor presence to support FOH and BOH staff.  Manages FOH staff, including scheduling, performance feedback, uniforms, discipline.  Coordinates / assigns activities of FOH staff to provide fast and courteous service.  Sets shifts operational goals and follow-up plans.  Ensures the cleanliness of the FOH by maintaining to specified standards, passing local Health Department audits with a 90% or better, and training staff on proper sanitation guidelines. Effectively work and communicate with kitchen management to ensure effective and efficient operations.

 

Interview new FOH personnel.  Assist in the ongoing training and professional development of staff members.  Prepare all required paperwork, reports and schedules, control cash by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.

 

Qualifications:

 

2+ years of front-of-the-house operations and / or assistant management position.

ability to operate a Point-Of-Sale system.

Ability to train, lead, manage and inspire the service team.

Manage all details of running the front of the house and guest relations.

Cash handling, shift supervision and scheduling.

Ordering / inventory

Excellent food and beverage knowledge.

Proficiency with Restaurant POS System, computers, Micros, Excel, Word, email, Social Media.

ServSafe Certification.

 

5 day/10 hour shifts.  Afternoon / evening schedules.  Monthly rotating weekends off. 

 

Compensation: $45-$50K, + 10% annual bonus plan, 50% paid Health, dental, vision, company IRA, Vacation.
