This role is responsible for generating daily, weekly, and monthly volume reports with top line analysis on customer sales. In addition, this role will monitor and lead cross-functional team execution (weekly Sales/Operations Meeting) to facilitate smooth product development from Ideation to Commercialization. This position will support the Sales Director’s activities and will also work closely with customer functional support Team Members.
Responsibilities & duties
▌Responsibility 1 – Works directly with Sales supporting analytical information from company information systems and trackers.
▌Responsibility 2 - Complete weekly sales activity reports for each manager for their
Weekly briefs with sales leadership.
▌Responsibility 3 – Provide Monthly forecasts based on historical sales trends
▌Responsibility 4 – Compile and format sales data from internal & external sources into actionable sales presentations.
▌Responsibility 5 – Facilitate new product development initiatives from concept ideation to launch by coordinating communication between Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounting. Assist in assembling customer bids and proposals per the defined timeline.
▌Responsibility 6 – Closely interface with DFSI’s cross-functional departments; R&D, QA, Supply Chain, and Accounting to ensure alignment with customer expectations on projects.
▌Responsibility 7 – Complete special projects as assigned in a timely manner.
▌Responsibility 8 – Provide monthly customer sales analysis to DFS sales team.
▌Responsibility 9 – Perform administrative duties as needed
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business/marketing or related course Accounting / Finance preferred
Work experience & skills
Advanced in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
ERP System Experience
Proficient with managing relational data bases
Experience in food service industry a plus
Knowledge of basic computer programming
Strong analytical/quantitative ability
Excellent organizational & project management skills
Proactive in identifying customer sales trends and causals.
