Exec Assistant/PA, AI -Start -Up

AI-powered systems are increasingly being used to replace or augment human decision-making across a broad range of industries. These systems already impact many aspects of our lives and will continue to grow in their influence over the next two decades. Therefore, ensuring the reliability, safety, security, fairness, and understandability of these systems is critical. To date, tools to ensure that AI-powered systems meet these standards have lagged behind the tools used to develop them. This has led to two common outcomes: deployment of AI-powered systems without proper verification and validation, or conversely, failure to deploy a system after costly development time and resources due to a lack of trust in the system by stakeholders. 

This is where CalypsoAI comes in. We are building a suite of products and tools to facilitate the deployment of trustworthy AI by focusing on rigorous verification and validation testing.

This role can go by many names and is probably a hybrid of all of them: Office Manager, Business Operations Associate/Manager, BizOps.

We're looking for a jack-of-all-trades who will help us solve our most pressing business and operational issues. The ideal candidate is a generalist with extraordinary horsepower and a bias toward getting things done.

YOU WILL...

• Support the CEO and broader team with a wide variety of tasks, including executive assistance, administrative/secretarial tasks, business development, fundraising, investor relations, and more.
• Support finance, bookkeeping, AR/AP, and business operations
• Initiative and special projects focused on solving high-priority problems, testing hypotheses, developing repeatable processes
• Anything Unassigned - You’ll be the default lead for anything that doesn’t fall within another team’s purview (product, engineering, sales, marketing, HR, professional services, or customer success).  Open functions include operations, finance, investor relations, etc.

YOU HAVE…

• 2+ years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm (or equivalent analytical and strategic role or 4+ years of experience at a high-growth technology company, ideally in a BizOps or Strategy role.
• You are capable of producing high-quality slide decks, financial models, and analytical memos with minimal guidance or supervision.
• You are the ultimate project manager, able to prioritize and execute multiple important projects in parallel.
• You believe the best way to learn something new is by doing it and you are eager to expand your skill set.
