The Receptionist is focused on providing a consistent customer experience at all times by welcoming and introducing all guests to Caliva with enthusiasm and passion for the brand and our products.

What You’ll Do

  • Embrace and demonstrate alignment with Caliva Values – Integrity, Positive Energy, Bias to Action, Connectedness, Truth Seeking.
  • Greet every customer upon entrance to the lobby according to the Caliva standard.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment.
  • Check in all customers with diligence and according to policy and procedure which may include patient intake paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with all store leaders and team members and ask for assistance when needed.
  • Support the store experience by performing various operational tasks as needed.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standards in the lobby and lobby restrooms.
  • Keep up to date on any promotions and communicate to customers.
  • Maintain a general knowledge of products offered.
  • Stay informed of daily store goals and commit to making a positive contribution.
  • Maintain professionalism in your appearance, attitude, and communication.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

What You Have

  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Familiarity with medical cannabis strains, products and effects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 2 years customer service experience; cannabis industry experience a plus.

Job Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must pass a background check including other requirements that may be city mandated.

The Receptionist role is to maintain the best customer experience at all time through customer service and to ensure all required paperwork is received and verified for all customers.  Receptionists are to act as brand ambassadors as they are the face of Caliva and should always hold themselves to a higher standard.

What You’ll Do

  • Demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Following all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication with management staff.
  • Adhering to all city regulations with emphasis on patient intake and paperwork.
  • Greeting every customer upon entrance to the lobby.
  • Checking in all visitors according to policy and procedure.
  • Checking ID’s and verifying all paperwork.
  • Responsibility for learning/retaining all communication from management staff.
  • Performing all opening/closing duties according to policies and procedures.
  • Create labels for budroom when needed.
  • Ensure lobby area is clean and full of clutter at all times.
  • Ensure lobby restrooms are clean.
  • Check in with packaging room for stickered vial inventory.
  • Responsibility for communicating daily specials to customers.
  • Recognizing when customers may need additional help from a medical doctor, and let a manager know so that we can set them up with an appointment.
  • Keep open communication to Managers.
  • Contributing to marketing communication.
  • Taking initiative and making your ideas known.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

What You Have

  • Experience in using medical cannabis or gardening is a plus.
  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to multitask and time manage.
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Provide adequate levels of support to cultivation division.
  • Must be detail oriented and take direction well.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must have at least entry-level knowledge of medical marijuana, related vocabulary and products offered.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry for 8 hours or more, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must pass a background check with local law enforcement.
