Service Manager for Calistoga Bikeshop - in the Napa Valley

We are looking for a key person to join our team at Calistoga Bikeshop. This team member will run the service area of the shop, engage with our customers who come from near (for sales/service) and far (for rentals/tours).

If you have at least 5 years of mechanic experience, and want the small town feel while having the flow of a busier area, this could be for you. We make no bones about it - we expect a hard working, motivated person to keep things organized and running smoothly, and we offer a great place to work in exchange. Generating service tickets, executing white glove service through your mechanic work, and utilizing our sales floor to sell items to service customers will be a key to your success.

We are on the single main street of Calistoga (basically three blocks long), surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Summary

As Service Manager, you'll maintain the service area, both with a curated aesthetic and great customer service. You will show us your mechanic prowess by demonstrating to the rest of the team your ability translate good service into sales, and vice versa. You will generate service tickets, organize special orders that are needed for service bikes, and communicate with service customers. As a small independent shop, we all wear multiple hats, so you can expect to set up some of our visitors on rental bikes some mornings as well.

Our goal for all our team is to help more people get outside, and have fun doing it. We are all about health, movement, and enjoying the outdoors. You'll also have the opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors during work hours by guiding a tour now and then.

Compensation Range

Hourly Rate $25.00 - $35.00. Rate depends heavily on your current experience level - including Specialized bikes, Lightspeed Retail Point of Sale, as well as Google sheets and docs, all of which we use to keep things efficient and organized. We will also be
