Program Financial Analyst

Responsible for monitoring and assisting with processing of open commitments and in-process vendor invoices. Collects and reviews financial data from various sources, including procurement, inventory, accounts payable, and financial databases. Utilizes data from multiple sources to research invoice holds and determine required actions for hold resolution.

Works closely with Project Management and Finance teammates in researching issues with vendor invoices, functioning as a Subject Matter Expert for converting open funding commitments to billable expenditures. May require collaboration and training of teammates on financial systems and understanding of data. Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various status reports as required, to communicate progress.

Maintains appropriate records and documentation in an organized fashion, with attention to detail. Supports assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested. Conducts audits and analysis of outliers or exceptions in financial reports, communicating issue and escalating as necessary.

Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations. Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA/AS, 3+ years experience About Our Work We are GDIT.
