Digital Marketing Associate (Analytics)

Position Summary

Calendars.com, a part of the Go! Retail Group, is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Assistant for our ecommerce marketing and merchandising teams. The ideal candidate will be analytical and organized by nature, has had experience with email marketing and/or social media, and will have a fondness for Excel and Photoshop. The natural ability to learn fast, think strategically, prioritize and work efficiently is critical for success in this position. Excellent communication and attention to detail are a must.

The Digital Marketing Assistant will work closely with both the Digital Marketing and Merchandising teams to positively impact our email marketing, cross-channel promotions, social media and more. This is an onsite temporary position (3-4 months) with a flexible schedule of 30-40 hours per week. Office hours are between 8am and 5:30pm M-F at our headquarters in southeast Austin.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with email marketing and promotion activations for Calendars.com as well as other brands within the Go! Retail Group

  • Provide support for the cross-brand social media team, including photography and editing social media graphics in Photoshop

  • Creative copywriting for compelling subject lines, headlines, social posts, etc.

  • Perform website UI/UX testing

  • Assist with digital marketing/merchandising projects and requests as they arise

Required Competencies/Skills

  • Digital Marketing experience preferred

  • Basic Excel and Photoshop skills strongly preferred

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Detail-oriented. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Quick learner who is self-motivated and eager to grow their capabilities

  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
