What we are looking for:
We are seeking to fill a Store Fixture Specialist role that will provide strong leadership in the planning and setting up of our stores across the U.S. Someone with a detail eye and a strong sense of urgency that thrives in a fast pace environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, great communication skills, self-motivation, problem solving and great teamwork.
This role will report directly to the Director of Retail Production Planning and will have open communications on a daily basis to other senior leaders, and will be working with a collaborative team of professionals. Most importantly, we are looking for some with a good sense of humor.
Overview:
This role directly provides direction to the look and feel of our store. This role will manage the day-to-day operations of getting new stores set up by ensuring the correct fixtures are sent from our distribution center. Contribute to a positive work environment and have open
Essential Functions:
- Partner with the product planning team to create standard layouts for all concepts.
- Maximize productivity of each store location space.
- Partner with various departments on new concepts.
- Create a complete package of fixtures necessary to build each concept of a store.
- Maintain all store size specific fixture templates to provide accurate fixture and supply purchasing needs throughout the planning season.
- Manage store graphic orders.
- Assist with fixture procurement process. This includes inventory process, disposal of outdated fixtures & overstock.
- Manage in-house showroom fixture setup process in the spring; includes determining fixture order needs, executing a setup timeline and partnering with the merchandising team
- Create fixture orders for all stores.
- Work with the fixture team with any substitutions or low inventory.
- Create store setup guides and videos for each store concept.
- Communicate daily with our fixture warehouse management throughout season to gauge their production needs and resolve any fixture issues that they encounter.
- Assist with store setup questions and offer solutions using assembly instructions and store layouts.
- Make outbound calls to return voicemails and follow up with operator/manager fixture issues.
- Ensure that all ACTS request are addressed.
- Learn store assembly by reading assembly instructions, hands-on work in the company showroom, and assisting at local Austin store setups.
- Assist with storefront signage inventory, procurement & assignment.
- Coordinate regional fixture storage with 3rd party storage company.
A positive attitude is essential, preferably a contagious one. Candidates who are flexible, organized, and have an inherent interest in problem-solving will be successful. This role requires regular, active involvement within several department, including the warehouse.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years inventory experience with a national specialty or big box retailer is a plus.
- AutoCAD knowledge highly preferred.
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong PC skills: Word, and Excel.
