Infrastructure Project Manager - 100% onsite

We are hiring Infrastructure Project Manager - 100% onsite for a Contract position in Tysons, VA

Required Project Management Skills and Experience
oDemonstrated experience successfully delivering large, complex projects, leading teams, and interacting with the highest levels of executive leadership
o7 or more years of experience working as project manager on large-scale enterprise-class IT projects
o5 or more years of experience managing large IT infrastructure projects including cloud migration, infrastructure builds and integrations, datacenter exit, mergers, etc
oExperience managing projects with several different IT engineering groups (Network, Voice, Servers, Mainframe, etc.)
oPrior experience in influencing, motivating, and mobilizing mid to large teams and business partners
3 or more years of experience handling multiple IT infrastructure buildouts at remote sites
oExperience managing remote IT infrastructure resources assigned to the projects
oExperience working with business units and senior leadership
o3 or more years of experience in handling the IT components associated with a merger
oExperience managing cost-optimization projects
oExperience managing external vendor relationships
oExperience and expertise in managing project budgets
oStrong financial acumen and a good understanding of budgets numbers
oMastery of project financials
oExperience developing and managing project schedules, impediments, weekly status reports and meeting minutes
oExperience in leading large groups across multiple departments
oExperience in managing multi-year projects
oProven ability to work with and facilitate geographically dispersed teams
oExcellent communication skills
oExperience and expertise in communicating with executive level
oExperience and expertise in project reporting including at executive level
oGood meeting management skills
oCSM or other Agile certification
oPMP Certification
oExpertise in JIRA
oExperience using Confluence (preferred)

Required PMO/Portfolio Management Skills and Experience
oMinimum of five (5) five years experience running a PMO
oMinimum of five (5) five years portfolio management experience across different types of high-risk, high-value projects
Proven expertise in portfolio budget and financials management
oExcellent understanding of PMO management, including methodologies and best practices
oExperience with agile transformations and running an agile program/portfolio
Experience with PMOs managing Agile teams
oExperience generating executive communication and reporting on PMO health and accomplishments
oProviding oversight and serving as an escalation point to project managers
