Position:Enterprise Architect (Digital Business Transformation) JOB REF#:17119 Duration:12+ Months (On-going Contract) Location:Torrance, CA 90501 (on-site only) Rate:Open, depends on exp level (W2 Only)
Business Digital Transformation supports various business areas for customers Manufacturing or Telematics related activities. They will drive/build business cases architecture approaches, strategy to influence and identify what technology is needed. They will define the architecture approach, POC, and technology approach for various frameworks (TOGAF).
Calance is a 1st tier vendor with 35 consultants working on-site for this global client. Although this is a contract role, the average consultant has been on project between 5-7 years. All work will be performed on-site and you MUST be available for a face to face interviews.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide leadership, mentorship and advisory services to architecture and project teams to ensure that solutions are in line with the architecture direction and business strategies In close cooperation with business, identify and conduct digital business transformation activities, conduct necessary POCs Conduct definition of digital strategies Influence and provide input in the future direction for enterprise architecture programs; make key technology decisions and recommendations for the program Maintain architecture governance processes; participate in ARB reviews from EA domain Define and document architecture and technology standards: reference architectures and solution architectures; constraints, and guidelines Maintain an enterprise architecture framework Conduct application portfolio rationalization Identify potentials and initiate legacy modernization activities Improve technology innovation approach, provide new technology planning activities
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience) 7+ years of exp, performing as an Enterprise Architecture, working with enterprise multi-platform environments, defining strategies and capability maps, digital business transformation, and foundation of business architecture 2+ years experience working with Digital Business Transformation Must have experience with TOGAF frameworks approach and methodology Must have a understanding/defining cloud approaches/services - AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architectures and components Provide hands on experience driving Proof Of Concept (POC)/Proof of Technology (POT) Experience working with analytics technology, "cognitive" technologies and algorithms (AI, NLP, text Analytics, Graph), ability to drive and conduct POC Experience with 2-3 of these technologies: MicroServices, Containers Architecture, API Management, ESB, ASP, and/or DevOps Experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available and reliable applications Experience documenting architecture and design Experience developing and communicate technical concepts Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role Exceptional communicator, strong business acumen, architecture team leadership, architecture governance Education: Bachelor s Degree
DESIRED SKILLS TOGAF Certified Automotive exp is desired Hands-on experience with application development - Java or .NET Good knowledge of applicable data privacy and security practices Experience with a Big Data architecture and infrastructure (Spark, Graph, etc.) Understanding of Mobile Development environments (Responsive and Adaptive Design) Experience with Graph technologies (such as Datastax DSE Graph, TitanDB, Tinkerpop, Gremlin) Strong understanding of Graph representation (RDF, LPG) and Ontologies Experience with any one NLP technologies such as Google s SyntaxNet, Apache OpenNLP, NLTK, Stanford NLP Experience with indexing and building applications using Solr Working technical knowledge of SalesForce applications and technologies
