Purpose of the Job: The Customer Care Representative is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as, working closely with suppliers to achieve financial growth and profitability.
Essential Functions: Develop solid relationships with existing and potential customers, by initiation of sales development calls Establishes and sustain business relationships with customers; working closely with suppliers and customers to better understand and meet their individual needs and requirements Learns and promotes company products and services Provides feedback to management and Marketing regarding customer needs and concerns Maintains detailed customer contact information and related daily sales activities within SAP, SalesForce.com or other sales management tools Preserves customer contact information for lead generation purposes using above mentioned tools Reviews account activities (calls/e-mail/mailings/fax) frequency to ensure accounts are actively managed and reflect changing customer and company needs Strategizes with team members on ways to improves sales figures and identify the benefits of products and services for the customer
Additional Functions: Assist in the management of inventory programs Engage in continual training to increase knowledge base of supply and demand of current and future products to offer Review order flows and changes
Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements: Requires an Associate s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education Requires a minimum of two years sales experience (inside and/or field) Ability to work in a team environment and fulfill objectives with minimal direct supervision Excellent communication and relationship building skills Strong verbal, written and documentation skills Excellent analytical skills Detail oriented and ability to multi-task Innovative, proactive, and self-directed Ability to focus on goals and develop a work plan that produces desired results Proficient in Microsoft Office SAP business software experience is a plus
