The Marketing Specialist is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) remote work opportunity. This person is responsible for writing, editing, and graphically designing content to support the marketing and communications plan for CalWest Educators Placement.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related experience
2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management or a related field
Preferred knowledge and experience working with Mailchimp, Hootsuite, WordPress or similar tools
Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail
Strong collaboration, prioritization, organization, and project management skills
Social Media: Grow CalWest’s brand by creating content for social media campaigns across multiple social platforms
Email Marketing: Create content-driven newsletters and blogs focusing on job seekers and hiring organizations
Website and Content Management: Update and create content on CalWest’s WordPress website as needed
