Qualifications: Minimum two years experience in the Security/Surveillance field preferred. Knowledge of CCTV systems preferred. Must be 21 years of age.
Records audio/video of all activities associated with the Soft Count, Hard Count, Bill Validator Count and bagging of coin.
Detects, documents, and records suspect activities within the casino, casino cashiers cage, slot attendant change banks, and count room areas.
Checks all equipment to ensure that it is in full working order and the documentation and notification of all faults to senior surveillance staff.
Correctly files, stores, and checks retained video coverage.
Keeps all daily logs and reports necessary for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the surveillance department.
Works closely with personnel in the employee photograph file, casino management, and hotel management.
Becomes familiar with persons in the excluded or cheat file and the V.I.P. (high roller) files.
Maintains a low profile in all areas of the casino, pavilion and hotel.
Avoids over-familiarity with casino personnel to the detriment of their surveillance duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical, Mental, & Environmental Demands:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time (5-8 hours).
Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor via stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalators.
Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property, including ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; and, the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, climb up and down stairs and ladders.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate computers, surveillance equipment and other related equipment.
Must be fluent and literate in English.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
