Property and Marketing Manager

Conveniently located between Palm Springs and Los Angeles, Cabazon Outlets offers a unique desert landscape shopping experience nestled between the Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio Mountain Range.

The Property and Marketing Manager will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with employees, retail tenants, customers and the community. They will be prepared to respond to all problems and concerns that arise at the property and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. They will oversee and manage the planning, budgeting and control of operating, marketing and capital expenditures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and monitor annual goals and objectives.
• Develop and monitor departmental goals and objectives.
• Develop strong working relationships with all store managers and regional/corporate tenant contacts.
• Assist in the process of developing and implementing a strong marketing program to drive sales at the center. Coordinate signage and advertising programs to ensure quality and effective use
• Assist with creation of engaging social media content.
• Regularly communicate with tenants to collect offer information, center sales promotions, etc.
• Responsible for visiting Center stores and identifying key promotions and products to feature on social media.
• Monitor store sales on a monthly basis, and center traffic on a weekly basis.
• Oversee that the highest standards are maintained for the center, including both from an in-house overview as well as with tenants and their storefront policy compliance.
• Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, counseling etc. for all center employees.
• Oversee all contracted personnel providers.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and offboard all departmental employees. Supervise, train, and evaluate all custodial, maintenance, and security staff.
• Develop and manage center's emergency/ disaster plan ensuring that all personnel are trained as appropriate to function as an emergency task force capable of a crises management response if necessary.
• Process all payables and expense reimbursements monthly.
• Ensure thorough personnel record keeping and documentation.
• Conduct annual performance appraisal of center staff.
• Conduct monthly tenant manger's meetings.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5+ years' experience shopping center management experience with a proven track record of success.
• Strong experience in coordinating all aspects of property management, operations, and marketing.
• Exceptional leadership, management and team building skills.
• Experience with all Microsoft application.
• Highly skilled in math, to understand budgets and capital expenditures.
• Strong background in managing various departments to include maintenance, custodial, security, customer service and administrative.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

• Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach to unusual occurrences.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Possess strong organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures.
• Extensive experience with MS Office applications is required.
