LOCATION: Jackson, MS. Estimated no more than 10-15% travel to client locations in Illinois.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Management Associate will provide support to projects across the Criminal Justice Court Software ecosystem from conceptual design through implementation – inclusive of our IT, Hardware, and Software platforms. These projects can include a) New Customer Installations of our Proprietary Software, b) In-House Data Center upgrades, c) Customer IT Cloud Migrations, or d) Other projects as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee a wide variety of projects. You will have the chance learn from a team of experts for each project to maximize resources and efficiency. This role will work with senior Company leadership on top-down oversight throughout entire project execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. You will develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. Then monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related fields) or equivalent work experience. Plus 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience with implementations of IT Hardware of Software projects

  • Experience with using and building plans in Microsoft Project

  • Familiarity with building Sharepoint Sites

  • Engaging with and training groups of new users on tools or technology

Other “Nice to Have” Skills that may set a candidate apart:

  • Any familiarity implementing Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services

  • Any familiarity with IBM Server ecosystems, specifically IBM i or AS/400

  • Experience using CRM tools and/or other business management software platforms.

  • Understanding of Software Development: HTML, PHP, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript

SALARY AND COMPENSATION:

Salary will be commensurate with experience. Company offers subsidized medical insurance, dental insurance, life and accidental death/dismemberment insurance, generous PTO (paid time off) and a 401(k) matching program. Continuing education subsidies, including PMP certification for this role, may be available
