Facilities Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

****FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER ****

(Current Facilities Maintenance Manager leaving after 40 years.  He will stay on board for 90-120 days helping his replacement get acclimated)

Seeking a candidate with managerial experience to be responsible for our state-of-the-art, ISO 9001:2015 registered manufacturing facility. Candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment and preferably have the knowledge of a licensed electrician and/or related degree.  Responsibilities will focus on the application of knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment, including the utilization of 480vac, VFDs, and PLCs.

-Manages 15-20 people (manages electricians, mechanics, HVAC employees etc.)

-In charge of all managing facility (indoor/outdoor)

The applicant must have excellent management skills and have the ability to focus on various tasks and activities simultaneously.

Communication and coaching skills to develop healthy relationships with the maintenance staff, contractors and service providers.

Ability to run, operate and check various technical aspects of machinery, equipment, and buildings.

Problem solving skills to ensure all issues are resolved quickly and swiftly, with minimal downtime.

The ability to prioritize maintenance tasks, activities and programs

***Experience with metals is a plus***
