Job Description

SUMMARY:

We are looking to hire an Human Resources (HR) Coordinator with outstanding organizational and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in a career in Human Resources. We are looking for a positive team player with  superb organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate should thrive working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to problem solve and multi-task. The HR Coordinator will provide administrative and project support to the Talent Acquisition Manager and Human Resources team. This role performs a variety of highly diverse and complex administrative and HR project oriented duties, including but not limited to:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO): 

  • Coordinate, track and manage active job requisitions to ensure deadlines are being met. 

  • Coordinate job requisition process including monitoring and creating new requisitions, requirements and coordinating the requisition approval process.

  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Manager to assist in various tasks including adding resumes to the database, scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding with operations teams and managers.

  • Assist with recruiting active and passive candidates. 

  • Monitor and track HR metrics. 

  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure training and scheduling of the first 90-days of new employees. 

  • Assist with culture events and various committees. 

  • Submit background checks and coordinate pre-employment drug testing. 

  • Assist with job descriptions. 

  • Support with electronic e-filing and documentation. 

  • Support HR team with project needs. 

  • Support Administrative Coordinator with office coverage on an as-needed basis. 

  • Be an employee and culture advocate. 

  • Coordinates and participates in the new hire orientation and on-boarding process. Supports employee relations specialist with completion of new hire paperwork. 

  • Manages employee birthday and anniversary notifications on the employee app. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or similar field OR equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, G-Suite, and social media outlets such as LinkedIn. 

  • Thinks outside of the box with creative problem solving skills. 

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is essential. 

  • Must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-sufficient and self-motivation to meet project/work deadlines. 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion. 

  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
